I want a kayak I can put on top of my car by myself. The lightweight Venus 10 by Ocean Kayak is designed for women, and let’s face it, I just love the name. The water may be deep, but I’m so shallow!

Philosophy Body Wash

"All the Philosophy 3-in-1 body washes are delicious (and I'll take one of each, please), but I bought this champagne-scented one to celebrate myself!"

Oliva Bella balsamico

"I coveted this balsamic vinegar for months while on Oliva Bella's waiting list. A few drops on cheese or a strawberry makes for a decadent treat - completely worth the wait."

“Where would I be without this little device??  I keep one in my car at all times (mine has two plug adapters).  Great for long trips (when someone else is driving) to catch up on my blogging and bylined articles not having to worry about when my laptop battery will die.  Not only that, but I keep a curling iron handy for quick fixes in my car before an event (stopped at red lights of course).  And if you get sick of keeping up with car chargers, just bring along your wall chargers for all your in-car entertainment such as an IPod, IPhone or DVD player (for ancient cars like mine that don’t have factory movie screens)” ~Laura, Contributing Writer

Never Judge a Book by Its Cover Is So Passe

My love of the moment comes in the form of a 601 paged paper-back monster known as the 2002 Centennial Edition of John Steinbeck’s “East of Eden.”   And while content ultimately rules, I can’t help but be drawn to the gorgeous antiqued detailing on the cover and the uneven parchment pages.   It makes a gal like myself, who is always drawn into the visual aesthetics of life, happy to tote around a book so big every single day.
