Pills

Here's a little snapshot into my life recently:

We're getting into bed last night and I turn out the light.

"Hubs?"

"Mmmm?"  He's laying on his back, way over on his side of the bed.  We keep the house pretty warm during the day and then turn the temperature on the thermastat down at night, and it hadn't quite cooled off enough yet so that we could bear to touch each other.

"Guess what?"

"Mmmm."  He's not a big talker, especially when he's tired, and he didn't seem to be in the mood for guessing games.

"I started my new birth control pills tonight, so I should be less, um, nutsy and scary."

He rolled over onto his side and sighed a long, deep sigh.  "Sweet Jesus, thank you for your mercy."

And that was when I hit him with his own pillow.

Hahaha that is great!  I was on birth control our entire marriage until this January - then my husband got to experience nutsy and scary for himself! Now he just gets the crazy hormonalness ;)
